Requirements
1. Prototype made of aluminum.
2. Phone height should be 6.50 inches ± 0.50 inches.
3. Phone width should be 3.25 inches ± 0.25 inches.
4. Phone thickness should be 0.60 inches ± 0.2 inches.
5. The phone housing must weigh less than 175 grams (0.386 lbs).
6. The phone housing should no break when dropped from a height up to 5ft. onto concrete (or another adequately hard surface).
7. When disassembled, the phone housing should only take up to 30% of the assembly’s volume when it is assembled.
8. The phone housing must be dust-protected to meet International Electrotechnical Commission’s (IEC) IP rating of up to 5 for dust protection.
9. The phone housing must be water-protected to meet the IEC’s IP rating of up to 4 for water protection.
10. The phone housing meet IEC’s IP rating of up to 5 for dust protection when reaching a temperature of up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
11. The phone housing must be water-protected to meet the IEC’s IP rating of up to 4 for water protection when reaching a temperature of up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
12. The phone housing must be dust-protected to meet IEC’s IP rating of up to 5 for dust protection when reaching a temperature of less than 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
13. The phone housing must be water-protected to meet the IEC’s IP rating of up to 4 for water protection when reaching a temperature of less than 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
14. Must use a gasket in means of water and dustproofing.
